A Long Standing History

Emmaus Lutheran Church is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). We are located in the northwest corner of Phoenix, Arizona. Our message is as old as God's Word to mankind: Jesus Christ, crucified and risen for the salvation of mankind.

Emmaus has also operated a parochial school, since 1976, for students in preschool (age 3), pre-kindergarten (age 4), kindergarten, and grades first through eighth. Christ-centered education is the purpose of our school, but high academic excellence is also something for which we strive. Emmaus Lutheran School exists to assist parents in the spiritual training and education of their children.

Students who would like to continue their Christian education at the high school level attend our area Lutheran high school, Arizona Lutheran High School (ALA). ALA is located at 6036 South 27th Avenue Phoenix, Arizona 85041 (on 27th Avenue, south of Southern).
